For students from grades 7 through 12
Croisée is an interdisciplinary project in which students, teachers and professionals from different disciplines – dance, visual art, music and theatre – collaborate to create and present a performance. Through this project inspired by Tara Luz Danse’s creative process, the students experience all stages of a larger-scale artistic production.
“Croisée gave the school the experience of interdisciplinary creation, which is something we always intended to do and never did. The project provided a precise framework and was led by artists coming from beyond the school. The interest shown by the students convinced us right away of the value of such a project. The students and teachers quickly understood this new reality of collaboration that exists in today’s art world.” Daniel Côté, coordinator, specialized arts program, École secondaire catholique Béatrice-Desloges, Orleans, 2011.
