For students from grades 4 through 12
Impro en mouvement is an artistic mediation project for contemporary dance and dance improvisation given in schools through approximately 10 workshops. Accompanied by Artistic Director Anik Bouvrette, the company dancers and musician, students are led to explore, create and present their own structured improvisations, performed with live music. The creative processes of the company’s choreographies Les bâtons and Hippopotame serve as the project’s inspiration. An artistic guide and activity cards support students and teachers throughout the project.

There was a positive transformation of the group’s dynamic.” Martine Bazinet, teacher, École élémentaire publique De la Rivière Castor, Embrun, 2015.
